Irreverent comedian Russell Brand -- who caused controversy at last year's MTV Video Music Awards by poking fun at the Jonas Brothers' purity rings -- will return to host the show again in New York City Sept. 13, the network announced today. Taylor Swift and Muse are set to perform for the first time at the 26th annual event, with Swift singing a never-before-heard version of her "You Belong to Me" and the British rockers making their debut U.S. performance with a new single, "Uprising."
