So I'm heading into this comedy club tonight for what will likely be the most full venue I've ever performed for... a venue that will be packed full of UNC fans. I'm a Duke boy, and this is a Duke vs. UNC comedy competition. It'll be tough to get any Duke folks in there since the NCAA 2nd Round game won't be over when it starts. So I'm preparing to go into a room of hostile UNC lovers in the midst of a Duke vs. UNC battle... and make them laugh. I've got my brain mentally prepared for a set full of heckling if it comes to that.
If anyone is in the Triangle area and interested in watching me overcome my flop-sweat and make these UNC fuckers laugh despite themselves, it's tonight at 10 at the DSI Comedy Theater in Carrboro. I'll try to document this somehow and let you know how it goes.
