I think Pena would have a shot, and he *SHOULD* get it because he was great in the movie.
Just like I think Martinez should get a look, but won't which sucks.
as for The Grey, it should be. But, now that Lincoln, Flight and The Silver Linings Playbook are out, his chances for getting a Best Actor nod are looking real slim. I mean, John Hawkes (The Sessions), Jaime Foxx (Django Unchained), and both Matt Damon and John Krasinksi (Promised Land) are all in the hunt. So, it's looking real slim for Neeson.
But, something tells me that he *COULD* get in since Helen Hunt is getting more buzz for her work in The Sessions and Promised Land looks strong, but I hear that it probably will get overlooked probably...
