Agreed that War of the Worlds was actually a really good movie. The only thing that bothered me was Tim Robbin's monologue about occupation....kinda unnecessary. But Tom Cruise's relationship with his kids was interesting. And I'd say the sound design...the ominous horn sound...great stuff.
I don't like Rob zombie movies at all.
And I'm in the minority...but the 2 Hostel movies were amongst the most fun I had watching movies in the entire decade.
Also....Teeth (Roy Lichtenstein's kid wrote and directed it) deserved to be in there. Lots of fun. Also the aforementioned 'Funny Games'.
Actually haven't seen Pulse...and I've seen almost everything else. Gonna have to check it out.
