A real nice surprise. I really enjoyed this. After the first few minutes I expected a fairly typical indie downer movie, but I think it succeeds in being something more than that.
Easily the best performance I've seen from MC Joaquin and the whole movie pretty much depends on it.
I'm probably totally off base in the comparison and there really isn't anything specific to point to in order to back me up, but in the closing moments I couldn't help but think this felt like some of Woody Allen's darker stories.
