LOL.

You must not like many movies, Sparky.

>in his positive influence is limited in scope. It effects
>people in the business, perhaps his geographic community and
>that's about it.

Uh - no

Upcoming artists and filmmakers. Upcoming businessmen
who want to understand how to navigate hollywood.

He's producing 'Precious' written by a regular black
woman, so you're wrong about that. And its employing
a talented young filmmaker, Lee Daniels. So he's influencing
lots of people, actually.

He'100% self made, works hard, and is an excellent example
for young people in many crafts. I, for example, am not an
entertainer, but am inspired by him and his work.

>His 'artistic' (and I use the word loosely)
>influence is much bigger and it's negetive - I'm sorry, I
>don't want to see the same bs stereotypes hollywood has been
>perpetuating about me and mine anymore.

What stereotype is he perpetuating about you?

Because when I saw 'Why Did I get Married' I saw professional
blacks pediatricians and psychologists coming together and
discussing the difference and issues in a very mature way.

Not sure what the fuck you're talking about.

And even still, when I see 'The Browns', that is not me.
That's the goddamn Adams Family, and its hilarious.

So even when I see the silly stuff, its silly and great.

But he doesn't even make exclusively silly stuff.

In fact, his model is awesome: He uses the funny projects
to bankroll some of the more serious projects, which is
fucking awesome.

>It does nothing for me. To me, that makes his movies bad.
>That's all I'm saying, he makes movies I don't want to see,
>and his perceived success will probably encourage more people
>to make more movies I don't want to see.

Okay, that doesn't make him any different than Kevin Smith.

>His business influence as of yet has absolutely no effect on
>my life.

It has about as much an impact on your life as the "negative
stereotypes" has.

I can give you SPECIFICS as to how his employment has helped
blacks. I can give you SPECIFIC projects that he's funding.

You can't give me shit about how the 'negative stereotypes'
that he perpetuates hurts you. You're making shit up.
