If you think they are equivalent then you are not paying attention.
I guess from your perspective the "center" is way over to the right - where the republicans and the religious right moved it to during the 80's and 90's.
The republicans *are* the "radical right" which is just left of David Koresh and Montana Militiamen.
Fox asking questions like "Why do liberals hate the troops" is NOT equivalent to MSBNC saying that Fox is insane. And that universal healthcare is needed. And that Obama should prosecute torture - and that they are disappointed he is not.
I think you think that unless MSNBC parrots the "What did Nancy Pelosi know, when did she no it, why didn't she immediately act?" bullshit that they are "THE FAR LEFT."
The FAR LEFT is not even Dennis Kucinich. He's the *left*. Just the left. Compared to Cheney he's a hippie who only eats mushrooms that grow from his feces is the forest - but that doesn't make him far left.
The *right* (red FAR RIGHT) in this country accept a leader (like Bush) and follow whatever authoritarian bullshit he tells them.
The *left* in this country want Obama to do a lot more and criticize him for not doing more. But these criticisms are not in line with the "Muslim barrack Obama socialized your right to choose to not have healthcare" shit many mistakenly believe are centrist criticism.
Union membership is not a FAR LEFT idea. It's a solidly centrist idea - unless you are a business owner.
Universal healthcare is not a far left idea - it's a centrist idea - unless you own a hospital.
Far left is meaningless in America - because there are so few people who espouse any of the ideas publicly.
And fake-tits-and-smile is the *right* in any sane model of America.
