All good points. Word.
I first heard it in ‘96 (freshman year of college) when my homegirl traded it with me for my recently acquired Blowout Comb album. It took a while for Blowout Comb to really hit me so I was open to hearing DYWM and it instantly had me hooked and captivated. It was definitely jazzy, fun and just pure mic skills, versatility, originality and dope sounds on full display. Even the album cover alone was special.
