I bought his debut album on CD and liked it well enough.
I was more than willing to get behind him. It seems like he’s generally considered “the guy” as far as pure rapping goes, and I just don’t really get it. I’ve never loved any of his projects or really connected with more than a few songs off them.
Maybe I’m just missing it as a listener and I’m “wrong”. Every artist isn’t for everybody,
I feel kinda bad if I went too hard up above. I wish him well and will keep occasionally trying to see if his music fully starts to click for me.
