I was glad that LA had a sound that most of the country seemed to love but.....at that point (and all the way to this point) it would seem "off" for a NY'er like me to act like I "really" vibed to g-funk.
Sort of like now that I've been in Georgia since 2010 they got a form of sexual R&B (Clarence Carter "I been strokin'" , Marvin Sease, and apparently a WHOLE lot more artists) that I'm glad these southerners LOVE for their own identity, but....I can't pretend to "vibe" to that stuff.
