Cuz only rappers do that self hating BS about "growing" and "expanding" and exploring new blah blah blah garbage. If he was any other artist doing any other type of music he could do that for the next 50 years and get respect. Rappers however somehow feel like they are too good to just rap and need to expand into terrible R and B for some sort of validation.
It sickens me. The lack of respect for rap as an artform permeates hiphop culture almost more than any other place. I have no respect for artist who do this. None.
We live in a world where a hip hop artist can do a bad Nine inch Nails impression and get respect and accolades for his "artistry" and "genius" instead of being derided and shunned as they should.
Rapper who do this should rethink their lack of respect for themselves and their art.
