Inspired by Kosa12's posts, I figured I'd ask on behalf of myself and all the other ppl out there who love jazz but whose knowledge of who's-who and whats-what abruptly ends at least 20 years ago, maybe longer for some.
As a long-time Ahmad Jamal fan, I was over the moon discovering his Marseille album last week. Absolutely gorgeous album made even more amazing by the fact that he's 87!
