The last we heard about the recently reunited Blur working on a new album was almost exactly a year ago, when producer William Orbit claimed that bandleader Damon Albarn had halted recording sessions for a new LP. Well, it looks like Blur's going to give it another shot, as Albarn suggested at the band's performance at Hong Kong's AsiaWorld-Expo (via BlurBalls) last night. In the below video, Albarn talks about the cancellation of a few forthcoming dates in Japan before dropping the bombshell: "So we have a week in Hong Kong, and we thought it would be a good time to try and record another record." Given the previous reports, hopefully things will go better this time around. (Thanks to Matthew Parkinson for the tip.)
