I doubt much would have changed, the times had already moved on then, once gangsta rap took over P.E. was pushed to a niche market of those who wanted intelligent politically charged content. Reagonomics came to an end, America changed, they had their time and era to rule and it passed, they still kept making good music and the loyal fans kept following them, but the industry around them changed. gangsta rap, then flashy suit bad boy era, and whatever the fuck we have now took over.
