hip hop's golden era is calculated as 86-early 89

would you include nwa and ice t and king t and whoever else
that dropped hip hop durin' that time
as part of the golden era

or is golden era just for the tri state area?

is any of the south or other areas that may have
released some rap apart of that era?

or is golden era really just new york centric?
