For me, top of the list is 50 cent. I loved when he was the rap underdog who took shots at everyone (how to rob). Once he blew up the very same tough talk and bravado just seemed as unnecessary gloating.

I think rappers in general who built there career on their outsider, underdog, poor status don't have anywhere to go once they become the Man. See also Eminem.

Any other examples of people you championed until they blew up and then you despised them? In and outside of Hip-hop?

I think OKP should have a ton since so much of this sites identity is built on being early adopters of trends outside the mainstream.
