PP is probably one of my favorite Badu songs, it's also completely different than anything else in her catalog. When I first heard the song I just knew that other artists would jump on board start a black/soul rock movement. Unfortunately it has'nt happened yet and probably won't.

Now just for clarification I'm not referring to a black band who plays rock, but a black band who plays rock fused with soul. Cree Summer comes to mind when I think of rock with soulful influences. Wish there was more of it.
