It hit me this morning listening to "Badmotorfinger". I actually stopped to count while "Rusty Cage" was playing. I'm not a music expert by any means, so I could be wrong, but the part towards the end where they pull the bassline out and Chris is singing with just Thayil on the guitar seems to switch to like 19/8 or something like that. Another from the same album..."Outshined" is 7/4. Perhaps my favorite of all, "Whipping Post" by the Allman Brothers is actually in 11/4 during the intro, then it switches for the chorus. Add on.
