"Poll question: The last classic R&B album was Mary's "My Life"."

Some R&b albums are classics in certain circles. In the black middle class I'd suppose Mama's Gun and Voodoo and Urban Hang Suite were classics, but nowhere else is that true. In many hoods One could wager that Usher's Confessions was the last classic, or perhaps one of those Beyonce albums, but as time goes on, it appears the last truly universally regarded (universally among Blacks) is october 1994s My Life. The one before that seems to be Sade 92 Love Deluxe.

Does this jibe with y'all or is there a classic released since then?
