was going down a YT rabbit hole of behind the scenes/in studio/making of vids.
lots of good ones out there - some of my favorites for different reasons: kanye/timbaland working on stronger - really showing the work that can go into a single song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Nl2Wn1pjrs
Black milk making this random beat (was it ever used?) was just fun to see; lookin like he's in a basement, just choppin samples, havin fun. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lFiHKcYA4jY
What are some of yall's favorites/types of these vids? Genius has started doing those "deconstructed" joints which show producers walking through songs they've produced. vox does the video essays (that's def a thing now, right?) where they dive into certain elements of a particular song. Rhythm Roulette does the on the spot beatmaking ones.
I'd love to see more behind the scenes/making of stuff that's been released. like, it would be cool to see bts of a rihanna writing camp that ends up with a hit song, or a straight, unedited hour of a 9th wonder/rapsody session, or SOBxRBE working on a record etc.
