This place kinda sucks for records, which is shocking considering our history and reputation. There was definitely some shit here before Egon arrived in the mid-late 90's, but he turned this place upside down and its been slim pickings ever since IMO, especially with the flood of information on the internet.
The Great Escape, if they don't just put it on their ebay page immediately, sometimes has nice stuff on the wall for very reasonable prices (usually half of what you'd pay on Discogs). They have multiple patrons who hit that spot EVERY DAY though, so you have to get lucky.
Grimeys gets the most pub in Nashville, but for used records it's pretty dismal. Slow turnover. Great for new records and reissues though, if you're in the mood for that.
I've always loved Phonoluxe but there are RARELY any deals to be found in there. They get good records all the time but you're gonna pay full Discogs/Popsike prices.
Thrifts will occasionally offer some interesting private-press stuff. Bring a portable for sure.
If you come here for the food and atmosphere and let records be a bonus, you'll love this place. In terms of record stores with consistently dope stuff in stock, especially on the 45 tip....MEMPHIS is the king in Tennessee.
