73. "This thread is about overlooked R&B albums." In response to In response to 72 Thu Mar-02-17 04:51 PM by Sleepy
There's a reason most of them have been overlooked. I've got hundreds of CD/records/tapes but there's no way I can remember everything I have. Let's be real though. How many of these albums in the thread are really worth owning. Since you own so few of them, allow me to answer that. Not that many.
It's not that I'm in here not contributing due to being a party pooper, it's just that I honestly can't remember. The majority of my library just doesn't fit the criteria. I wouldn't be in here mentioning Guy's self-titled or En Vogue's "Born to Sing", because they don't fit the thread.
The overwhelming majority of these albums fit within a specific timeframe where there was just a lot of R&B records coming out. And record labels were pushing out a LOT of material.
EDIT: Now that I think of it, I have to remember these when I go through the rack.
You're such pests...now, what is it you want? In your depths of your ignorance, what is it you want? Well, whatever it is you want, I can't deliver because I just don't see it. - Orson Welles
