48. "2Pac had different vocal versions on a lot of his singles" In response to In response to 0
Especially his Death Row era stuff:
2 of Amerika's Most Wanted (slightly different beat too) Pour Out a Little Liquor How Do U Want It (different 3rd verse) I Ain't Made At Cha (different 3rd verse) To Live & Die In L.A. All About U (solo version, more verses)
50 Cent had two radio edits of "Window Shopper". On one he was dissing Fat Joe, Jadakiss, Ja Rule and Nas in the chorus. "Jada, yous a window shopper...", etc.
The radio edit of "Bling Bling" removes Turk and adds Lil' Wayne to it.
"Daytona 500" by Ghost had the car sound effects.
On Jay-Z's "Big Pimpin'" he has a different vocal version for his verses but UGKs verses are just blanked out. Jay also added a verse.
Keith Murray's "Get Lifted" added a chorus to the radio edit in addition to having different vocals.
Redman's "Pick It Up", in addition to being a remix with a different beat, has Red doing vocal effects to edit the curses.
The radio edit of Jay's "Ain't No Nigga" is way better than the album version.
The radio edit of Wu's "C.R.E.A.M." is WAAAAAAAAAAY better than the album version.
Slick Rick's Knock 'em Out The Box Mix of "Children's Story" is better than the album version in my opinion. There were a few minor changes that somehow made it better.
And of course all of DJ Premier's radio edits are great, especially "F.A.Y.B.A.N.". He should have gotten a Grammy for that.
