I posted my review, but it will go up tomorrow (Monday) morning. Initially, I felt as if the first two songs were either rejected tracks, or songs that are perfect as bonus tracks, or non-LP tracks. In other words, okay songs but not worthy to carry themselves as being part of an album. That changed with track 3, and I don't consider myself a Drake fan by any means.
I felt that some of the songs seem to set himself towards doing other styles of music, to be more open than just the pop/soul guy. By opening to diversity, he's opening himself to longevity, which arguably he has since he is Justin Timberlake, but in a world where validity and relevancy seem to be craved by those who lack neither, I felt this was his way of saying "I'm going to be here for awhile, and would love for you to listen", without an attitude.
I also think Jay-Z's verse sucks ass. Full review to be posted tomorrow.
