I saw both Jay-Z (with an 11 piece band) and JT (with an 8 piece band)
play (separate shows) at the TLA on South St. in Philly - club holds less than 1000 ppl. both shows were EPIC. seeing that kinda concert in such an intimate setting is bananas.

I wish they would book small rooms and charge like $300 a ticket instead of stadiums where its never a good look, musically speaking.

that said, Hov has got the live show down. He took the Roots blueprint (live band steez) & ran with it. I noticed that the same husky bass player from the Reasonable Doubt/Roc Boys Hov shows was playing bass in Timberlake's band at the Grammys.
