...basically, it's difficult to recontextualize metal-samples into Hip-Hop without it coming across as rap-metal and "noone" wants to comea cross like that... The reason for this is because the distorted guitar is very rarely quiet in metal unless it's some mellow interlude or something-very rarely do you hear drum-lines or basslines by themselves. So basically, sample metal and you get the distorted guitar playing power-chords or notes and then the music will sound metal (or punk). I can't look at the youtube link you provided since I'm at work so I don't know which song it is...

When I tried to make beats in the 90's, I actually sampled swedish death metal band Edge of Sanity due to a really cool "open" drum-fill in one of their songs (can't remember which song but it was on their album with the for metal weird, organic drum-sound-maybe dalecooper knows which album I'm referring to, it was the early 90's)that also SOUNDED right (that's another thing; the sound of drums in metal has been very different from the sound of drums in Hip-Hop even if the difference in the more mid-tempo patterns are somewhat overstated; I know lots of metal-songs that have quite headnoddy beats and I'm not talking nu-metal either)...
