There are strong regional differences here as evidenced by the mention of Dexy's Midnight Runners. Anyway, Right Said Fred had three hits off their album in europe whereas acts like Blind Melon, Counting Crowes and Sublime are textbook one-hit wonders from *my* perspective and strictly american phenomenons (see also:John Mayer, Hootie, Dave matthews band, Phish for other examples-these acts never even had a hit here but were/are mega in america) if viewed as anything else. Of course, I know this is mostly an american site so it doesn't really matter.
