Pretty much set the tone for both 90's hip-hop and r&b.
When that track dropped in 89, it pretty much set the tone for r&b and hip-hop collaborations. Around that time rappers were pretty much loathe in general to do soft shit like be on an r&b song of have sing songy hooks. then the 90's and new jack swing came......it all started with this track. ______________________________________________________________________________
