Eh, slightly disappointed. I'll be the first to make the inevitable comparison with the Glasper album (given the "make jazz popular by making it less like the jazz of old" theme). RMS feels like it fits that bill perfectly, to the point of overreaching and sounding cheesy at some points. Glasper came with something new/fresh and it's hard to fit it into any box (which I think he wanted).
I do like the horns and drums. There are some cool moments, but overall it's just okay after 2 spins
