Instead of treating this like a whole new record, it should've been a surprise treat.

I don't think too many people are gonna buy the whole LP, unless it's a whole story record that's going somewhere. (I THINK it's a story album (w/the characters getting jerked and ending up broke)...but so far it hasn't been presented like that)

They should've dropped the whole project for free first & the vid at the same time. Made a limited vinyl/itunes release (so they will get some profit) w/snippets of the actual De La Soul album...then made a limited edition of the new record w/First Serve as a bonus.

Maybe I got it all wrong, but when you got people feenin for new material and you drop a parody record out of nowhere people are gonna give the gas face to it.
