we don't have to debate whether or not these are actually freestyles or what the definition of a freestyle is...IMO, the ability to write dope lines and commit them to memory then regurgitate to a beat is still extremely dope. I think this is what most of the guys are doing...and they freestyle bridges to the next rhyme. Obviously there's vids where dudes go completely off the top, too, though. I've been on a reaction vid kick for a couple of months, now. I'm subscribed to 4 or 5 channels on youtube. It got me to watching ones I've already seen, plus a BUNCH of new shit. Loaded Lux on Flex. I don't watch battle rap. Don't know much about it and I never heard anything about Lux until the whole "he gone get this work" phenomenon began. But, mannnnn....this shit is so nasty to me. Just the way he came in...he didn't even get in on the one. SO many double, triple entendre, the delivery, the histrionics....FUCK. I've probably seen this 100 times, easy.
