A few thoughts. Season 1-4 were great, hard to find anything to complain about. I didn't really enjoy season 5 as much. Seemed like a lot of table setting and kind of a mess. 6a was awesome, only weird thing was for it to end how it did but since it was technically a 2 part season thats fine. 6b was good but too hectic, almost kind of rushed and hectic.
I kind of feel like the therapy was a bit of a crutch for exposition. Kind of wish it lead to something more.
I'm still wrapping my head around seeing the kids grow up into the roles they end up in. Meadow would be full DNC, anti Bernie...maybe. AJ full blown q-anon.
Carmela would be hardcore GOP.
It's amazing how relatable they made all the main characters be. So much so that I gasped inside when I realized they were full blown Bush supporters lol
Tony's sister is probably in my top 10 most disliked characters ever. Poor Bobby.
Damn Chrissy, kept giving me hope he would get it together. The whole Ade thing was heavy.
Sil cracked me up the whole series. Reminds me of an ex-coworker. I kind of want to watch more stuff the actor has been in to see how much he was playing up the character and how much is just him. I'm horrible with actors so no idea if I've seen him in other roles.
I kind of expected the ending since I had heard people were mad that it kind of just ended. The suspense in that scene was intense. I didn't realize I was watching the last episode until I saw him looking at the song list, I had seen a headline about the ending song. So I didn't really come out satisfied with the ending because I was expecting there was going to be one or two more. If I had watching it knowing it was the last episode maybe it would had hit differently.
I think I will end up watching the whole series again at some point which is something I don't really do.
