"Poll question: Concert ticket prices are BULLSHIT (agree/disagree)"
Anyone else pissed and how Ticketmaster and AXS and Livenation are pricing tickets?
My experience today: Kraftwerk announced dates May-August of 2022.
I click 2 seats on the seating chart and they show they each cost $76.00 dollars for a subtotal of $152. That's in my comfort range so I click to add them to my cart.
THEN Ticketmaster immediately displays a pop-up "Dynamic pricing is in effect" and the tickets I had chosen rise to $110 dollars each, so instead of $152 the ticket cost 30% more at $220. (Then add the fees.)
I decided this is a bridge too far and I am not going to buy tickets if I can't know how much they'll cost. Is that too much to ask for? To know the cost of the ticket??
I guess enough people are willing to do this, but two tickets at $200 is expensive to me, much less $300. And these aren't PRIME tickets - those were going for $300+ each even though the face value is $96.
