Sorry if this is dumb questioning.
But like, Bezos hasn't paid much in taxes on that accumulated wealth... so if he gifts this money to them then they will now have to pay more than he ever had to, correct?
And, it matters whether he gifts these 'courage and civility' recipients as individuals rather than an incorporated entity (eg. non-profit) on their behalfs, right? Wouldn't gifting individuals kind of liken these amounts to lottery earnings?
