They're encouraging smaller gatherings because of #TheVID but you know people are still going to do what they do...I know in some cultures its common to brag on how early or how long you were cooking...Like most "holidays" most people have no clue about the true darker history of the day...Even though I'm over the holiday and the culinary associations there's nothing wrong with being thankful if you believe in a higher power...I'm mostly chilling, drinking wine and grilling seafood, watching this dumb parade and waiting to see what football games actually happen...Immediate family in the area will probably drop off a couple plates of "thanksgiving food", we have a zoom call with the extended fam later...What are you all doing today?
