They are not even remotely the same thing. For one it doesn't matter who votes or how many times (unless they set some arbitrary limit). The other, it couldn't matter more who voted and how many times.

One is to generate ratings to sell ad space. The other is to determine who is going to have the nuclear codes. They are not the same.

Trust me, you don't want voting apps. And stop leaving shit up to Silicon Valley bros. They're a large part of the reason we're in the shit in the first place.
