...to break from the NCAA and create a new athletic association, using their multiple, already existent, athletic conference infrastructures as their organizational backbone.
They'd be able to attract top talent, primarily by providing less restrictive student athlete regulation and providing allowances the NCAA would never agree to, like letting athletes being able to accept benefactor gifts, or their own personal endorsements.
Resulting in bolstered HBCU enrollments and funding sources of opportunity, like television (hopefully from non-traditional channels--those with Black ownership) contracts for national broadcast rights.
