While what the Black men did was wrong, you're right that the criminal justice system has never been anything close to equitable to Black men. Of course, not saying anything new.

That is interesting that even though there are many legitimate activists involved in gender equity that a policy stance has never been articulated. Seems like now is as good of a time to begin but it seemed the aftermath after Weinstein has been freestyled. Maybe there just hasn't been enough time to formalize the momentum.
