I thought getting to a certain salary would help me feel more secure. in some ways it has.

I don't have worries about the mortgage, note, household bills, etc. just seems like there's never enough in savings.

my biggest worry is not having enough retirement money since I started late on the 401k

so success to me would be getting that retirement/saving situation better.
