and I noticed the used and bargain R&B/Soul and Jazz LP sections at one my regular shops were small as they have ever been. But! The sale section for brand new LPs was a big as ever, like those titles didn't sell and a lot they were trying to shed.
And of course, the brand new LP section with new releases and reissues was larger than ever. I think the vinyl "trend" will bust but this shop seems to be relying heavily on new, sealed releases. However, I understand that's just where the demand is. I'm sad that going to this particular store doesn't excite me anymore.
