"the trump/gop federal judge take over. "

something for the "why vote? lessor of two evils is still evil" shortbus shawties that didnt see how much it was bigger than hilary.

and something to keep in mind during all them goofy racists tweets and other daily news cycle distractions...with this stuff going on quietly behind the scenes, gop aint turning on your boy no time soon. worstcase they will denounce whatever the day's crazy tweet is, then go back to voting or supporting whatever gets the party more power. even 2018 is mathematically stacked against a Dem majority takeover.

Anyway--

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/conservatives-have-a-breathtaking-plan-for-trump-to-pack-the-courts/2017/11/21/b7ce90d4-ce43-11e7-9d3a-bcbe2af58c3a_story.html?utm_term=.6861531eea5f

"If conservatives get their way, President Trump will add twice as many lifetime members to the federal judiciary in the next 12 months (650) as Barack Obama named in eight years (325). American law will never be the same."

highlights-

-obama left over a hundred judge vacancies due to 1)gop obstruction on obama's picks 2)obama admin attempting to be overly (and needlessly, and naively) centrist/"fair" and thorough

-gop is fasttracking as many chump picks as possible, even though some have been ranked as unfit by the american bar assoc, mostly for being too biased

"The rush to Trumpify the judiciary includes nominees rated unqualified by the American Bar Association, nominees with outrageously conservative views and nominees significantly younger (and, therefore, likely to serve longer) than those of previous presidents. As a result, by sometime next year, 1 in 8 cases filed in federal court will be heard by a judge picked by Trump. Many of these judges will likely still be serving in 2050."

in the recent CFPB case, trump's pick to lead the org vs the outgoing head's replacement pick, the judge was a recent trump appt. guess how that case will turn out

and pobably the most egregious example (other than obama's SCOTUS judge getting blackballed like kaepernick), is the guy trump nominated that only practiced law for 3 years, never tried a case, and now gets a lifetime seat.

https://www.salon.com/2017/11/10/republicans-confirm-36-year-old-judicial-nominee-who-has-never-tried-a-case/

"Talley isn't the only Trump judicial nominee who has been the subject of raised questions. Charles Goodwin, who was nominated to the federal bench in Oklahoma, was the first judicial nominee since 2006 to receive a "not qualified" label from the American Bar Association. Jeff Mateer, who was nominated to the federal bench in Texas, aroused controversy by referring to transgender children as proof of "Satan’s plan" and denounced the Supreme Court decision legalizing gay marriage as "disgusting." John Bush, who was confirmed to the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals, wrote a blog post arguing that slavery and abortion were the "two greatest tragedies in our country."

-and the gop evil villain cherry on top is to try and just create double the amount of judicial seats (for chump to appoint) out of the blue, and cancel existing seats that werent picked by them

"Almost overnight, the judicial branch would come to consist of almost equal parts judges picked by nine presidents combined — Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush 41, Clinton, Bush 43 and Obama — and judges picked by one: Donald J. Trump. The effect on our civil rights and liberties would be astounding. And a continuation of the pattern of Trump’s nominees to date — more white and more male than any president’s in nearly 30 years — would roll back decades of progress in judicial diversity."
