Is there a central website where you can upload your files to? i'm on godaddy.com right now looking at their stuff....but I can't really tell what i'm getting for $10/year beyond the domain...but even with G Suite, I have to buy the domain before I can register the email address with G Suite as the backbone. So sounds like the route you're recommending is the better way to go from a cost standpoint.
