So this year I was almost mesmerized with how the pansexual, post-Mormon existed in a safe space and it softens my perception of weird bearded hipster youths.
What I found most offensive on the new MTV - the one where there's not enough domestic violence PSAs - there was the typical redneck chick that spewed her homespun racism and provided, once and for all, to everyone involved, that any post-racial reality is nonsense.
She winds up physically attacking the Black woman on the show, but she wasn't ready for that and she was yanked offscreen in the most hilarious way. Nothing happened. There was no punishment from the producers. Nothing.
So after weeks of putting up with this cave dweller's bullshit, Ceejai (the aforementioned Black woman) physically attacked the cackling caucasian after a few rachet and picking cotton remarks. Her attack was not the act of a weak woman.
The Black woman was immediately kicked off the show for her attack. The white girl was kicked off, but only wrapped up in the incident. Why/how was the white girl allowed to stay after attacking the Black girl, but the Black girl was immediately kicked off for attacking the white girl??
That was some top notch fuckery and for all the safe spaces and equality talk, when it comes down to it, white people's fear remains a commodity that has more value that fairness. Police shooting Black people is because they're scared, so their fears are manifested in "sorry we're pussies, but now this vindication of the white offense stands, bye now."
