My homegirl is trying to send her son to 2 college tours and I think a conference and last month she put up a gofundme link on Facebook and no one donated (sad but people got bills I guess)

Then I (and literally 60 other people) get added to a group (via FB messenger in support of this effort last night and she said "only $700 to go! PayPal me or send me a check". She added some really nice words about her son and how he was looking forward to this.

Some people have donated and that's good but I'm so annoyed you added me involuntarily to a group that I have no desire to donate.

Especially when she keeps sending updates like "$400 to go!"

So am I petty or nah?
