"Perceptions of Cheap vs Frugal vs Fiscally Responsible"
Tue Apr-12-16 11:35 AM by Case_One

So, a co-worker of mine said that her boyfriend was being cheap because he used his employee perks program to get discounts on restaurant service.

However, she has never complained about old dude being cheap when he has used the same employee perks program to get discounts on concert tickets, spa service, car service and on clothing.

Why is it considered cheap to get discounts at pricey restaurants, but not for other luxury goods and services?
