I'm driving home on the highway after playing ball at open gym. It's dark out. I'm in the left lane driving with traffic at about 75mph keeping fair distance with the car ahead of me. Next thing I know, the car in front of me starts slamming on its brakes and swerving a little to the left. The jersey barrier is there so there's really nowhere to go and they're just kind of going back and forth. I start to brake as well but notice the car behind me isn't slowing down and I can't lay off and still brake in time to not hit the car in front of me. Mind you, this is all happening in a matter of seconds. So I make a decision to swerve into the middle lane looking in my rear view to make sure no cars are barreling down. As soon as I turn my eyes back on the road...there's a guy...ROLLING ACROSS THE FUCKING LANE! So without even thinking, I swerve into the right lane...this time not looking to see if a car was coming. Then I pull over to the breakdown lane and look over at where I came from and there's a 4 car accident with one car turned completely around and its door wide open. Next thing I see is an 18 wheeler coming down the middle lane where the guy was and I fucking took off. I was like "there is no way I'm sticking around for no shit like this...I just wanted to play ball!" My heart was beating so fast for a couple miles.
