Randomly the Freeway Rick Ross popped up on my Netflix and through the rabbit hole I went.

There are A LOT of people who want to blame the Crack epidemic on the CIA. We know some things to be true. They AT MINIMUM looked the other way as Contras sold cocaine in this country to fund warfare outside of it. AT (CONSPIRACY LEVEL MAX) MOST they helped coordinate, invented crack and pushed it purposely into the hood.

On the flip side we know that Colombians were flooding Miami in a much more ridiculous way. More money & coke than anything running through LA.

So... do we conflate some of the CIA conspiracy behind Rick Ross to him wanting to be "bigger" than he actually was? Was the CIA sanctioned drug trade even a blip on the overall cocaine game? Are Miami and LA/CIA both winners? Is everyone conflating their portion so they all can go down like "real life" Scarface?
