the whole "people who are really into item x know that brand y is trash" argument can be applied to nearly anything. don't take people who spew that reasoning at you too seriously. if you think the watch looks nice then get it
i've owned a few invictas in my life and they have been fine. they haven't malfunctioned and i have even received the occasional compliment on them
