"Positive energy needed... Having the worst Monday ever."
Moved into a new place this weekend, with a new roommate. Roommate is out of town. She has a cat, I have a cat.
Move in went normal. Woke up this morning to return my U-haul truck and caught a ticket for being 10 mins late on moving the damn truck.
Get back to my house and realize my cat is MIA... I look ALL over, meanwhile I just moved in so there's shit everywhere. My cat is not a "hider" though. She usually comes right out.
She didn't come out. As I'm looking I realize that the balcony sliding glass door is cracked... double checked everything and yep she's gone.
There's construction going on and scaffolding all around the building. I hope she comes back. Meanwhile at work, I'm a hot ass mess. I hit the ugly cry and the more I tried not to cry the uglier it got.
Monday Day, Day 1 in the new place... I notified the building manager and she said she would tell the construction people to be on the look out.
It really fucks with me how attached I am to this damn cat. Didn't even like the cat at first. Now I feel like I lost my kid.
