I've had my little brother up for the weekend and I am extremely proud of him and what he has accomplished...but damn that lil ninja is gassed.

It was actually him and a couple of his homies up to here them sit around and talk they definitely had no doubt that they were about to take over the world. Each had school or jobs lined up on graduation.


Add on top of that they were on the campus of an HBCU where the ratio of women to me is like 8 to 1? One dude couldn't understand when we were out in BK friday night and this one chick wasn't that interested in his game and was trying to keep going back to the girl and get her to explain why she wasn't interested in talking to him. SMH. I had to show them dudes the Street Holler video just to get them to see it from a different point of view.

Anyway, part of me wants to try and prepare the for the ass kicking that the real world is preparing for them but the other part of me just want to let them enjoy it while it lasts.


It's all kind of funny to me because I think I felt exactly the same way at that time. I remember me and my boys joking about how we were going to be billionaires taking over in our respective fields.


Little did I know I was going back to the bottom of the pile and would be trying to claw my way back to where ever it is that I am now.
